Jenny "Lang Ping" Volleyball Player in China

Lang Ping - is an international volleyball icon. The "Iron Hammer" is the first and only person to win Olympic gold in the sport as both a player and a coach. 한국야동닷컴

The Iron Hammer, titled for Lang's nickname, is the first Olympic Channel Five Rings Films documentary featuring a female athlete and female director.

Former Chinese volleyball player and the current head coach of China women's national volleyball team. She was the former head coach of the United States women's national volleyball team, herself being the MVP of women volleyball in 1984 Olympics.In 2002, she became an inductee of the Volleyball Hall of Fame in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Playing the spiker position, she was a key player on the Chinese team that won the 1981 World Cup championship, China’s first major title in volleyball. 

Lang was elected Captain of the Chinese National Team and the team won a Gold Medal at the 1984 Olympic Games. The Chinese National Team won a Gold Medal at the 1985 World Cup, a Triple Crown victory. Lang was named tournament MVP and retired to pursue coaching. Recalled from retirement in 1990, she finished her playing career with a Silver Medal at the World Championship

After her playing career ended in 1986, Lang coached volleyball in Italy and the United States.

Lang also coached (2005–2008) the U.S. women’s team, which won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The gold medal came when China desperately needed a confidence boost, a successful Olympic team proof of a successful nation.
